Privacy Policy

Jackpot Insurance Inc. (“Jackpot,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit getjackpot.ai or interact with our marketing, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We've also published a plain-language privacy summary that covers the same ground in plainer terms. This document is the legally controlling version.

1. Who this policy applies to

This policy applies to visitors to getjackpot.ai and people who sign up for our waitlist or otherwise interact with our marketing. Once you become a Jackpot insurance customer in the future, additional disclosures will apply, including those required by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and applicable state insurance regulations.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide:

• Email address, when you sign up for the waitlist or otherwise contact us
• Information you submit through any qualification questions or forms

Information collected automatically:

• Device and browser information (browser type, operating system, screen size)
• IP address and approximate location derived from it
• Pages viewed, time on site, links clicked, and scroll behavior
• Referring URL and UTM parameters from advertising campaigns
• Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6)

Information from advertising platforms:

• When you arrive from a Meta or Google advertisement, those platforms share standard campaign attribution data with us
• We send those platforms aggregated conversion events (e.g., “this visitor signed up”) to measure ad performance

We do not collect government-issued identifiers, payment information, driving records, or telematics data on this site. Those types of data will be collected only when you become a Jackpot customer and only with appropriate consent and disclosures.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Add you to our waitlist and notify you when Jackpot launches in your area
• Measure the effectiveness of our advertising and improve our marketing
• Understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
• Comply with legal obligations
• Communicate with you in response to support requests

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your email address with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Service providers

We use third-party service providers to operate our site and marketing. These providers process information only on our behalf and only to provide services to us:

• Vercel: website hosting
• Supabase: database for waitlist signups
• PostHog: website analytics
• Meta (Facebook): advertising and conversion measurement
• Google: advertising and conversion measurement
• Namecheap: domain registration

Each of these providers has its own privacy practices. We've selected providers we believe handle data responsibly, and we limit what we share to what's needed for the service.

5. Advertising and tracking

We use Meta Pixel and Google Ads tags on our site. These tools allow us to measure how our advertisements perform and to show ads to people who may be interested in Jackpot.

When you visit our site, these tools may set cookies and report your visit to Meta and Google, even if you don't click an ad. The information shared includes your IP address, the page you're viewing, and a unique identifier.

You can opt out of personalized advertising:

You can also use browser-level controls like tracker-blocking extensions or “Do Not Track” settings. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where applicable.

6. Cookies

We use cookies for analytics and advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings or, where applicable, through a consent banner on our site.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA):

• Right to know what personal information we have collected about you
• Right to delete personal information we have collected from you
• Right to correct inaccurate personal information
• Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell, and our use of advertising cookies may be considered “sharing” under California law — you can opt out using the methods above)
• Right to limit use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect sensitive personal information on this site)
• Right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights

Other US states: Residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have similar rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@getjackpot.ai. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

8. Data retention

We retain waitlist email addresses until you ask us to delete them or until we determine the waitlist is no longer active, whichever comes first. We retain analytics data for the period set by our analytics provider, typically 12 to 24 months. We retain advertising data per the platforms' standard retention periods.

9. Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect the information we collect. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that information will always remain private. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

10. Children

This site is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the “Last updated” date at the top. If the changes are material, we'll provide more prominent notice (such as an email to waitlist members).
